393. Attempt to commit robbery.--Whoever attempts to commit robbery shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.
COMMENTARY
Robbery contradictory statement of complainant. Non-sealing of recovered weapon. No identification parade after arrest of absconding co-accused. In view of statement of prosecution witness case of prosecution further becomes doubtful because after arrest of absconding co-accused no identification parade was held. Prosecution has not been able to prove the guilt against accused, evidence as produced is full of contradictions. PLJ 2008 Cr.C. (Karachi) 362.
